Gibraltar Darts Trophy European Tour Event Five

Round 1:  Jamie Caven 6-2 Leo Hendriks
Round 2:
Jamie Caven 6-2 Ian White

The round 2 win against a very in form Ian White is a fantastic win, really sending out a signal that Jabba’s form is strong on a big stage as well as on the floor.

From Official PDC Website:  Jamie Caven was in sensational form as he overcame Ian White 6-2, averaging 104.67 to over 101 from the Stoke ace in a high-quality contest. White opened the game with a maximum and led 2-1 after hitting a pair of 14-dart legs, with Caven replying in kind. Caven also took the fourth in 14 darts to level and added a 180 and double top to break throw in a key fifth leg. Double five gave him a 4-2 cushion, and he then posted another 180 in an 11-darter to move to the brink of victory, which he sealed by taking out 84 for a 14-darter.

Round 3:  Jamie Caven 4-6 Adrain Lewis

A real battle see-saw of a game.  Lewis took the first 3 legs, then Jabba hit a form streak and took the next 4.  But Lewis wasn’t double world champion for nothing, and he took the next 3 legs to win 6-4 and end Jabba’s run.
